Artist's Description
This image was inspired by a Psalms and by Isaiah 53. By His wounds we are healed. I wanted to depict the wounds of Jesus flowing into the Communion cup for our healing. The red and the blue in His crown and cup symbolize a deeper revelation of the Blood Covenant Jesus enacted for us as He laid down His life. The purple is His royalty and righteous royalty being imparted to us through the new covenant. The greens and blues in the background are our new lives resurrected through Him.
